In 2020, God gave Louis and Nikhea Jackson, alongside Antonio Quinones, a vision to help youth, families, and communities experience healing, hope, and transformation through authentic relationships. That vision became The Village Anderson, the original demonstration site for what is now The Village Indiana.
We believe every city already has what it needs to heal itself. The Village Indiana equips churches and nonprofit organizations to serve as community-based youth mentoring hubs. Through our train-the-mentor model, we provide each partner with mentor training, program structure, resources, technical assistance, and ongoing support. Partners then mobilize trusted adults to mentor young people within their organizations and surrounding neighborhoods, expanding access to quality mentorship throughout Indiana.
What began as a local response to real needs in Anderson has grown into a relational, faith-centered, and sustainable model for building mentoring communities where youth and families can thrive.
